Partial view of citizens being sensitized by LNPThe Liberia National Police [LNP] forensic section has now became to educates communities dwellers about the important of the forensic section of the LNP, and how its work.
The group over the weekend at the ELWA junction where educating residents of ELWA and Pennsville about the role of citizens in crime prevention, community policing, the role of the police in community partnership, the benefits of community policing, as well as practical demonstration of the forensic unit team on crime scene.
Speaking at the educative forum was the [A-1] police training Academic chief Mr. Samuel F. Diakana stated that the forum is intended to residents of the community, and reduce criminal rate.
He said, citizens understand the forensic section and know what should not be done at crime scene.
During the forum, it appears that citizen in the country are not aware of the responsibility of the forensic section.
Why it is true that the relationship between citizens and the Liberia National police can be described as a marriage that have no devise, there is a  needs for the forensic section of the LNP to carry on more awareness in various communities in and around montsorrado.
In another development, the role of the Liberia National Police forensic section is to fight crime by means of providing scientific support to identify a substance object or instrument to establish that a crime was committed, and to link the perpetrator to the Act.
