Amb. George M. WeahIts appears to be that the position given Ambassador Weah as Peace Ambassador of Liberia by President Ellen Johnson-Sir leaf  is creating setback for many political groupings that are in support of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC).

Over the weekend, a group calling itself Law Maker of the might Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) in District #14 of Montsorrado County organized the program marking the gowning and certifications of Ambassador George Manneh  Weah, and the Chairman of CDC, George Solo and many law makers, including Hon. Bhofal Chambers, Hon. Acarus Moses Gray, Hon. Thomas Fallah, Hon. Julius Berry, Hon. Joyce Musu Gray, Hon. Peter Coleman, Hon. Solomon George and Hon. Mulbah  Morlue who were the only person to wipe away the tears of  over 500  Cedecians who were seriously awaiting their Standard-bearer and other executives.

Mr. Myer Beateah, the group's Coordinator said the honoring of Amb. Weah and his delegates were based on their work in keeping the party alive.

Meanwhile,  given a speech on behalf of Hon. Bhofal Chambers, his special Assistant, Benedict B. Williams stated that being a student's leader or assistant to Hon Chambers does not means he is a CDCians, adding that as a student leaders, they sympathize with the masses.

But Mr. Williams quickly recognize that when CDC captures state power, they will minimize corruption.

He accused President Sirleaf of not being able to reconcile the people of Liberia; this is why she gave opposition party peace role.

He meanwhile called on Ambassador Weah to look at his role as Peace Ambassador very critically, adding that he should not compromise with those he called the wicked ones.

In another development, the group is calling on people of District # 14 to get prepare for 2013, adding that, “we are starting to campaign.” The groups denied NEC's report that there is no registration for lost voters' cards and ensure supporters of CDC that registration for lost voter cards is stay on-going.
