Electoral District #4 in Nimba County began 2013 with a grand celebration organized by Rep. Garrison Yealu as he identified with his constituency through sports and other festivities.

This year celebration was marked by gowning of elders and an arranged soccer match between Soe and Lorzean Chiefdom of the Twah River District.

Speaking shortly before the football march in Vayenglay, Wialay Clan, Soe Chiefdom, Twah River District on January 1, 2013, Rep Garrison Yealu said he campaigned on the policy of being people centered. He wanted to work with his people and will do everything in the interest of the people by making them happy, adding, that “once our people are happy we are happy.”

Yealu asserted that since two of the five projects (the building of a modern conference hall in each of the five chiefdoms) identified during the campaign are completed, phase two will soon begin to construct the remaining three.

He assured the citizens that all the projects will be complete by the close this year.
