Speaking to reporters on their behalf recently, Mr. Paul Varney and Lawrence Falegee Proprietor and Principal of the school said the administration is in dire need of construction, materials such as cement, planks, zinc and nails for the completion of a six bedroom building project that is ongoing on the campus of the institution located in Kebbah Road within the Barnersville Township.
Both Varney and Faligee said the ongoing school building project when completed will cater to the growing number of students within the Day Care and the Elementary sections of the Institution.
Other needed materials according to the school administration are instructional materials in the area of copy books, pencils, pens, reading books, chalks, stationeries, blackboards, dusters and chairs.
They pointed out that when all these listed items and materials are provided by those they are calling on, will greatly help their administration and the teaching staff of the institution to fully cater to the over 300 students who are at their early learning stages at the school.
Another area that the school administration needs to be supported is the financial arm of the Paul Varney School System which is presently depending on school fees paid by parents and guardians.
Mr. Varney and Faligee stressed that since the establishment of the Institution in the area, there has not been any financial assistance or support by any organization, individual and even the government through the Ministry of Education besides the school fees which they are using to pay salaries of their teaching staff.
Because of that, the two educators said the six classrooms building has being under construction for a year and half now cannot be completed. It is in this direction that they as administrators of the school are requesting for some financial assistance and other support from people, organization and individuals for the completion of its building project.
