Mr. Adolphus B. Kawah said the failure of student leaders to work co-operatively with school administrators could undermine development in their various institutions of learning which will not be in the best interest of Liberia.
He said, as future leaders, they should not allow politicians to use them for destruction to cause disunity in the society.
He advised student leaders to emulate the footprint of road models in the society so that they can become productive Liberians.
Mr. Kawah further mentioned that the failure of student leaders to emulate road models could render them unable to become capable future leaders.
He also noted that the future development of Liberia is resting on the shoulders of the youth who are well educated and not those who will become criminals.
Mr. Kawah said Liberia needs leaders who will turn their vision into reality in order to benefits the citizens, but not leaders who will divide the people.
He said good leaders does not involve in corruption, putting people at logger heads, back-biting and creating unnecessary confrontation in Liberia.
He encouraged student leaders not to run their respective administrations in isolation with school administrators so that together they can achieve their intended goals.
Earlier, in his acceptance remarks, President Asa T. Sundai said his administration will do everything possible to work with the school administrators so that together they will achieve their development agenda.
He said that his administration has embarked on a scholarship scheme for needy students in the school or outside as an effort of empowering the youth.
Those installed include Asa T. Sundae, President; Lydia Teah, Vice President and Edmond Johnson, Student representative to the faculty among others.
